What can be done for speedy trials?

You can file revisional application in high court for speedy trial of the case within a specified time frame.

1. send a well typed and informed letter addressed to the Chief Justice of the competent High court - through Registered A.d. Post citing therein such issue that you are facing and pray that the case may be expedited. The C.J. will intervene and will direct the trial court to try the case expeditiously.

Court proceedings are time and cost consuming. If you wish you can approach High Court for orders of speedy trials.

You are a defacto complainant. It is a state prosecuted case. The APP who is prosecuting the case can be pressurised about this, he will certainly raise this issue before court.

Pray the trial court through your advocate for speedy trial. If not yielded any positive result, then file application in the High Court praying for giving a direction to the trial court for expediting the case.
