This query is : Resolved
I have given 5 lakh to my friend. He gave me an agreement on 100 rs stamp paper with details of returning the money.
If I don't give the money back as mentioned in agreement, Can I take this to court and get a favourable verdict as soon as possible/?
I appreciate our feed back on this

This appears to be promissory note which does not require registration and hence no stamp duty is applicable.
In other words you can file a suit for recovery of money on the basis of this agreement.

You can certainly go for the recovery suit.. but we have to see the content and terms of the so called agreement.

Agreed with Expert Mr. Barman.
Before you proceed on your own get everything examined by trained legal eyes and mind of your able counsel.

Forget it, parents have no role to play in between you and your friend with respect to the loan transaction between both of you.

When there is no role of the parents, for what purpose you want to produce their video or telephonic conversation recording in the court?

I understand well, but you have the need to understand that general academic questions, not pertaining to any specific problem, have varied negative or positive replies. So, there is no relevance of your general question, so far as legal imlications are concerned on case to case basis that too depending upon the the background, characteristics and circumstances of the case.
