Sir
Two wives of a govt employee.employee passed away last year and both wives have a son each and all even the second wife and her son is also mentioned as legal heirs first wife says her son wants job and she will give total pension to second wife is it possible that second wife gets pension if first wife has no objection.

At the outset the employee cannot nominate either the second wife or her children without officially getting divorced from the first wife.The official legal heirs would be the first wife and her children.
Was he a Central govt or a State govt employee?

Sir,
My father was a state govt employee.my father got married to my mother with the permission of first wife she herself Sat infront of them at their marriage as I saw the marriage photo of my mother.and we were living together since 30 years after the death of my father now we are getting disputes for pension and job does second wife get pension if first wife has no objection.

Without divorce to first wife, second marriage is not legal, legally consent of first wife has no value.
