Sir, we have been doing doing cultivation on government agricultural land for more than 30 years in a village ( under rural area of Odisha). recently we came across that, the said Land has been allotted patta against a person of the same village. But, the possession is still under us. Both parties belongs to scheduled tribe.Please, advice what legal action can be initiated against it to how land patta allotted actual occupant.

You cannot initiate any legal action. However, you can represent authorities concerned or seek legal intervention when faced with eviction. Long possession could be ground for your claim.

u will have to file application before the Collector challenging the the grant of Patta to a person who is not entitled and without notice to u.Better engage services of a local Lawyer for the purpose. Do not delay. Delay may defeat ur claim and title to the property.
