What are the requirements to execute the general Power of Attorney viz., documents etc. If I execute the power of attorney in my
daughter's name, is the signature of both required?

Yes, the signatures of the principal and the attorney are needed on the document. the recent trend is to affix the photographs of the principal and also the attorney. the general public must be convinced that the one claiming to be the attorney is the one really appointed.
