I have na plot which comes under grampanchayat area in maharastra does grampanchayat has the authority to sanction plan n construction or collector's n town planning office

Grampanchayat sanction is not valid. Only the dist. collector has an authority to sanction the plan.

Building construction is presently done under Maharashtra Regional Town Planing act , They appoint various bodies as planing authority . This Planing authority keep on changing and notification is done in Gazette .

Presently Gram Panchyat they have removed as planing authority under MRTP from most area in Maharashtra.

Few months back I heard from some one reliable that one gram panchyat officers are putting building sanction plan dated 2006 and taking money and giving permit , don't fall prey to such Govt/semi govt officers . Building permission is valid only for 1 year as per MRTP and you have to revise next year. Means if Govt officer say I will give with sign and seal dated 2006 then remember he is fooling you because that is not valid permission in any way.
Greatest unfortunate thing of such dept is that this dept get rich bakra easily and they misguide people

Town planning authority is the proper forum who can sanction plan approval and not the gram panchayat sabha.
