sir,
my father had 2 wives i am from 2 wife.my father died in 1982.there was some property.i now got the 7/12 extract from office and found that the 7/12 extract r on my fathers name and after that it shows that it is transfer on my stepbrothers name.how can i prove that the property was purchase by my father before his death or how can i find out that its an ansectral property.

Approach the Sub-Registrar's office. They will be able to tell when did the property came to your father's hands and from whom.
