Can agriculture lan used for research lab construction

Hello friends,
I an doctorate and have my own proprietary as well as pvt Ltd companies working in the filed of agriculture research, manufacturing and organic certification. I am planning to buy around one acre land near pune (30km away). Said property comes uner agriculture zone. can I build my lab, office or manufacturing unit on said land? My father was farmer and his name reflects in 7/12extract.
Please advise ......

Apply, and a farm house is always permitted, If no hazardous chemical used, may allow your Lab. Mfg unit & office "NO".

You shall have to apply for Change of Land Use as per State rules.

Perfectly advised by Shri Makkad. Since the lab would be a utility lab for the agricultural purposes only, I don't think there would be any hurdle in such conversion.
