Can a husband oppose this in HC?

no, even if oppose, you can't succeed.
For Divorce, Jurisdiction where wife reside.

Why should your adv take such chance and waste your valuable time.??

If wife go for divorce case transfer in HC.

Who will bear the fees for transfer?

Will this come from Husband pocket?
Guest (Querist) 31 July 2012
Even husband is coming to city1 ( where marriage took place) from his present residing place 2500kms ( in state2) then also HC of state1 transfer the case in city2 which is just 50 km away from city1.

if wife makes application for transfer she will bear the legal expenses . not the husband .

if husband can travle 2500 kms for case mere travelling another 40 lms wont make material differnce . the courts are generally sympathetic to wife application for transfer of case .
