Hi Everyone,
I have purchased a flat from Janalakshmi Financial Services. At the time of allotment, i recd. an allotment letter with the plan of the flat which included an attached bathroom to the bedroom, about 2 months back the project was still under construction and the design was wrong. So i went ahead and spoke with the site manager who asked me to send him a scanned copy of the allotment letter which i duly did, he promised that he would take care of the issue. Now the project is almost complete and the design is completely wrong, they are forcing me to accept the flat as it is. What legal recourse do i have? Can i file a case in the consumer forum? Please help!! :(

yes you can move the consumer forum against the builder for deficency in service . builder has to give flat as promised . you can seek compensation from the builder

Thank you for your reply sir, i have proof of communications with the Builder. They have come back to me offering a free car parking, is this ok or am i entitled to more? The car park is anyways available for free to the builder. If i accept this will this be alright? i have spent a lot of money commuting to the apartment (45 Km from my house) to check on the progress, will i be entitled to claim reimbursement for the same? Thank you for your help!
