Dear Sir,
please guide me i have been cheated by developer he has taken money for selling open plot but not doing registration & refusing to pay back money i requested him many time. iam helpless how to teach him lesson legally and getting back money from him.

please advice me.

You can file a case of cheating.
Alternatively you can file consumer case for return as well as compensation or for registration whatever you prefer.

Dear Sir,
I had submitted complaint letter at concerned police station the police inspector told me that really he is a big cheater we all know but he does civil matter not criminal, if he does crime then we can take action against him but better you file Under Secton 156(3)cr pc in court after courts order we can investigate the case he took my statement in marathi & sign kept with him.

I want legal advice from you what should i do file pettition or legal cheating case through local lawyer.
