Obtaining duplicate khata from bda

(Querist) 06 April 2013 This query is : Resolved
Sir,

I have purchased 30X40 BDA site, and I received khata from BDA in my name. Now the referred plot is transferred from BDA to corporation. I paid arrears of tax to corporation. Now I have to apply for khata from corporation in my name. But I lost original khata from BDA. Please guide procedure for obtaining khata from corporation. Whether I have to apply for duplicate khata from BDA and surrender it to Corporation or any other way you suggest. To be clear.
1. I paid tax full tax to BDA.
2. I paid full tax to Corporation.
3. Now I have to apply Khata from Corporation.
4. But I lost original Khata from BDA.

To get khata from Corporation whether I have to surrender original khata of BDA or not.

Please guide me.

Apply to BDA for issue of duplicate khatha certificate and then make an application to BBMP for khatha.
