Gpa - registered or notary

(Querist) 22 April 2013 This query is : Resolved 
Hi,

Is GPA notary a valid & acceptable document at SRO for the purpose of property sale / release / gift (anywhere in India). Or GPA has to be registered before executing sale of property at SRO.

without registration of gpa, one can not register any document i.e. sale/release/gift. so, registration of gpa is mandatory.
