I meant report the loss with police then recite that as the old deed of partnership is not traceable even after due diligence of partners, hence it is here by partners agrees to recite the same terms a fresh as they were agreed in original deed of which a photo stat attached herewith to prove the original lossed.

A HINT SHOULD BE ENOUGH AS YOU SHOULD NOT EXPECT I WOULD EXACTLY MEET AND DRAFT A DEED FOR YOU.
KINDLY SEE A NEAR BY LAWYER WITH GUIDANCE PROVIDED BY ME.
THIS SITE CAN NEVER SUBSTITUTE NEED OF A LAWYER BUT IT IS USEFUL TO GUIDE YOU SO THAT
YOU ARE NOT CHEATED BY UNSCRUPULOUS HANDS.

Can get certified copy from registrar of firms. Banks generally have their own partnership letter (printed) signed form the partners of the firm while opening of the account.

If you want to obtain a certified copy from the concerned office, if you are really registered the same, there is no necessity to produce FIR for obtaining certified copy.If it is not registered, no possibility to get certified copy.

If the partnership deed was registered earlier, you can obtin certified copy of the same from the Registry. If not, prepare fresh partnership deed, with any modifications if necessary and better get it registered.

FIR is not lodged even in case of loss of documents rather a DDR is entered by local police within whose jurisdiction such loss is reported.
