(Querist) 28 December 2017 This query is : Resolved
Sir/Madam,
I am an employee of SBI as a cashier/clerk since 2013 and obtained BA degree from non college mode in 2017.
I din't took permission from department for graduation exams due to lack of knowledge, now i have a degree and i want to register it in my service record ( It will also provide me 2 increments ).
So can i get post approval for the same.....Please guide me and anyone can provide me the application letter format for post approval of graduation and degree registration in the service record.

What do you mean by "Non-College mode"? Do you mean distance education? Did you avail leave when you wrote the examination or not? (Whether you gave exact reason of exam or not while applying for leave is not the question).

Application is in simple format. Only you would be required to give some sufficient reason for your failure to obtain prior approval for higher education. While permission will be at the sole discretion of the competent authority to give or not, but your application, in itself may attract some disciplinary action for not observing disciplinary rules of the organization.

Better seek help from the HR department of your organization to avoid any strict action against you for your indiscipline.

Getting educated and acquiring higher education is an ordinary right. Is there any specific rule as applicable to SBI employees which prevents them from such an activity? Or, is there any specific rule that the additional increments will be provided only if the higher qualification is obtained after due permission?
