Divorce and threat by wife.

Dear Sir My friend has the thirteen years of painful family life in those yeares his wife has torchered to his paraents by not speaking to them at all and not treating them with respects. Her Parents is leaving nereby and they encourage her instead of convince her. Al last friends parent shown doors by his wife with fall allegation.
and now its turn for friends sh eis not speaking at all to him and not keeping any realationship with him from long.
Friend is leaving with her wife in her govt qrts.She is also working in Govt servic. Friend is keeping quite that on eday she will understand and behave good.
But now the matter has gone out of control she has threaten that if he will think of divorce then all fainily members along with friends will be sued with Sec 498aA and will be behind bars.
Please suggest what can be done. this is like prison for him.

First and foremost be specific. Don't confuse by using words like friend etc., none of the experts are interested in whether the query is for your friend or yours. So clarify yourself for giving you the answer.

And become more expressive. Do not use the words in short form. It takes pain to understand them.
Your friend has done the wrong himself by not protesting when his parents were shown the door and whatever he is facing, to me, he deserves it.
Still, ask him to lodge a complaint in the local police station about these tortures. If he has such courage then ask him to file a case of extortion and criminal intimidation against his wife. Its time now to wake up from the deep sleep.

I agree with Devajyoti, your friend should've done something when his parents were thrown out of the house. As him to file a complaint with the police, about the illtreatement by his wife and the threats of false implications.
