Need help in change of name

i am student of engineering.
I am familiar with the procedure of change of name . However , what i am concerned about is that after changing my name , will it be " necessary " for me to change my name in my 10th and 12th class certificates also ????

if yes ... then what will be its procedure..??

please give me a solution.

how did you changed your name in the record ?
if you want to change your name you must approach G.O. Press and issue the name changed letter and thereafter they release the GO then you can apply without name change in certificate any where.

that means after that i don't have to change my name in the school certificates..???

FOR CHANGE OF NAME YOU SHOULD COMPLETE FORMALITIES OF PUBLISHING THE SAME IN GAZETTE.AND FILE AFFIDAVIT REGARDING OLD NAME AND NEW NAME.YOU MAY ENCLOSE THE COPY OF GAZETTE TO PROVE YOUR IDENTITY.GOOD LUCK.

Agree with experts.. And you can't change your name in your earlier records. But you can use your new name in future records. By showing your proof you can do it..

i live in jalandhar , can u please tell me where the gazette office is around my area, or the government press is situated in this area...

please help...

Government Press does not entertain any such request directly from any individual. You may have to approach the concerned department. The Government Press is in Chandigarh only.

You can change the name, that will reflect in the future documents only. You can not do any correction in the older documents.
