the people who are major can marry without permission of their parents ?

is there any recent imposition of conditions on such marriages from supreme court

There is no any norms for getting permission from the parents for the coupole who have attained majority. But, in some states the Registrar of Marriage are retricting to register the marriage without parents. But, that is illegal.
As far as Special marriage act is concerned , both the parties should have attained 21 years then only the registrar can register their marriage.
