Refusal of refund

I have booked furniture and paid advance of 15000/= from M/S Bantia Furnitures on saturday evening. Due to unaffordability of the product, I have duly cancelled the order very next day, ie on Sunday , both through phone and in person and asked for refund. After a week I have sent a registered post restating my cancellation and asked for refund. Refund is denied. Request help.

WHAT WAS THE TOTAL COST AND HAVE THEY ISSUED ANY RECEIPT OF ADVANCE AND IS THERE ANY TERMS AND CONDITION PRINTED ON CASH RECEIPT ISSUED???

does the receipt mention that in event of cancellation of order no money will be refunded?

Oral transaction is very difficult to be proved and moreover, if you paid money as advance money and later on cancelled order on your part without taking into confidence the seller/service provider then you are liable for the consequences as per agreed terms and conditions.

The cost of material is 25000/=. I paid advance of 15000/=. I have the order receipt with me. There is fine print, and it is written No Refund/No Exchange.

Does a No Cancellation Policy qualify to be a restrictive trade practise.
