Dear panelist,
I an a resident of Rail Vihar, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The soiety has been built by IRWO - Indian Railways Welfare organisation. The society has a registered RWA.
The RWA has recently made a regulation that evey house in the society that has a car needs to take a parking slot for which each resident needs to pay the society Rs 50,000/- per car.
Is such a demand justified and legal?
The IRWO has not made any such demand while allotign flats to railway employees.
Kindly advise
Thanks

It is a resolution passed by general body or by managing committee ?? Cheque the by laws of the society also and members should give letter of representation against the move and in case no corrective move is taken then the same should be complained to deputy registrar
co-operative societies.Check the sale deed also.Is this charge one time or monthly or annual???

This is an illegal order, you can move court against it as well to get stay on such operations.
The parking slots if not demarcated can not be sold later, it would be violation of the ratio of floor and open area ratio.
