Working hours

sir
Iam working in a tertiary referal hospital in jammu and kashmir state,how many hours an employee is supposed to dicharge per day/month,remembering that 75% of my duty is during night hours i.e 16.00hrs to 10.00hrs.

as per labour law per day 8 hrs only.

As per labour, following rules about working hours:-

1.Weekly hours not more than 48.

2.Daily hours, not more than 9 hours.

3.Intervals for rest at least ½ hour on working for 5 hours.

4.Spreadover not more than 10½ hours.
Overlapping shifts prohibited.

5.Extra wages for overtime double than normal rate of wages.

6.Restrictions on employment of women before 6AM and beyond 7 PM.
