R/Experts, patient feeling uneasy with loose motion and goes to doctor, after checking doctor admitted him unnecessarily 3 days. The disease is not so serious, inspite doctor admitted him and charge huge amount. Room, nursing and consulting charges are also expensive as compare to the city. This type of practice is against the professional ethics, Can I knock the door of Consumer Forum? Is any remedy available to me against doctor?

You cab file such case but unless you can prove that you did not get yourself admitted willfully and did the same only after much force of the Doctor , you have a very poor case.

you have to prove your allegation and for the same if you have the opinion of Civil hospital doctor that you were not so much serious in this regard that admission was necessary for diarrohea.

If you have no opinion of some other doctor for that time you should not file a complaint.

Here, your allegation is that the patient was not serious. But you can succeed in a case only if you can prove before the court with sufficient evidence that the patient was not serious and the treatment given by the doctor was not at all required.

It is true what you state. Clinics and Nursing home have nowadays adopted this practice to extract as much as they can. They not only eye on patient's purse but want them completely sold off and it is regrettable.
It can become a consumer complaint case if the diagnosis on the prescription is simply diarrhea.
