Certified copy of order

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 30 January 2012 This query is : Resolved
Hi Please guide or tell what is the time allowed by court legally to get certified copy of order after case final judggement decided.
It May possible judgment has been finilised in distrct court and it is gainst if any of party. he will make deliberatelly delay in takig certified copy of judgment so that till that time he can pretend he did not obey the order as he did not have certified copy. So what is legal time alloted for partie to take certified copy of order and what is control over this?

To comply the directions of the court one need not mandatorily obtain certified copy first.
If he is duly represented in the litigation through his legal counsel then he is presumed to have all the knowledge of necessary directions passed by the court.
And if later he is found to have not complied with the directions of the court, he can not take plea of the non obtaining certified copy.

Delay in obtaining the certified copy of court order do not provide extension of time limit in favour of any party. the relevant date is when certified copy was ready for its deleivery. If any party fails to collect it from the copying agency, it shall haave to face its consequences.

Delay in obtaining the certified copy does not help him. Either it extends the limitation or gives any relief. Limitation starts to file any appeal from the date when certified copies kept ready.

he is found to have not complied with the directions of the court, u can take action "court contempt" as he is within knowldge of court order thru his adv.
