Can an Advocate file a suit in the Supreme Court against the High Court judge (Please note that on the High Court judge and not on the order) for the order delivered by the judge against the advocate ? I understand that No one can comment the judgement or the judge for the order delivered by the judge and at the most, one can appeal for a review or take up the matter to the higher court. However, I wanted to seek confirmation from the learned lawyers.
Thanks & Regards

No suit against the judge lies. You have to prefer an appeal against that judgement.

Thanks for your valuable feed back. The advocate filed an IA condoning the delay of 804 days. The IA was dismissed. The advocate went for an appeal in the High Court. The High Court judge condemned the advocate for misguiding his client and for the appeal filed by him in the high court seeking condonation since the advocate sought several adjournments. Though he pronounced the case is fit to file a complaint in the Bar Council against the advocate, he let the advocate warning him to be careful about his conduct in the future. The advocate said that he filed a suit against the judge in the Supreme Court and won. And I wondered how a suit can be filed on the judge. That's the matter. Thanks
