Dear Experts,
Can anyone advise me whether the hearing in State Information Commission will before a bench as in other Courts or in chambers of the Commissioners?

It is depend on the state's rules and regulations and facility provided by the state to Commission

usually there are more than one information commissioners.
hearing would be held at the office room of the concerned information commissioner. apart from him a steno of PA of the commissioner would be there to record the proceedings.
actually what is your concern?

Thanks for your answer to query.
I had made a petition to SIC and the case was numbered and is waiting hearing date.
My concern is to know if the petitioner and PIO concerned will be called to the chambers of commissioner or the cases of petitioners and PIOs concerned will be called one by one in open hall where parties concerned are assembled.
From your answer I gather the hearing will be I chambers ;it will be better than a normal court environment

It is kind of court only in most states.
