What is Hindu property act?? Prima facie speaking in case of ancestral property the daughter can claim share but not in the self acquired property of her father if he does not want to give her any share.

Dear Chitra,
You have to come out with complete facts.
Do not put abstract questions without giving the facts. Such abstract question, though may get you some answers, the said answers need not necessarily be correct to all facts and circumstances. Therefore, if you really want an appropriate answer, then you have to come out with facts.
