Banker's lien is a general lien which he can exercise on all the monies which have into the bank's fold to withhold the payment of such monies until certain obligations are fulfilled by the opposite party.
Lien and Set-off - Banker's right to appropriate such monies (as explained above) against any liability in the deposits or securites are in the same name and capacity of the person who is liable to the bank.
