Attend general body meeting

Thank u very much for answering my earlier querry?

(My wife is co-member. I am Treasurer of the society. Can my wife attend general body meeting in my absence?)
Kindly clarify the following :

If yes, under which Act or Bye-laws no. it is mentioned that only members whose name appear first can attend the meeting?
