Bought a land during 2004 and collected the sales deed,subsequently Sub registor - audit team send a letter for demanding more stamp duty since we registered at lower value.Fianlly IG registration send a demand notice using suo-moto power then we got High court interm stay on 30.6.2011.
Today the sub registror send a demand notice by changing date content same in their previous notice dt 3.5.2011.
Shall we send the letter to sub registror to recall the proceedings and their notice is controry to the stay issued by the honorable high court.
Govt dept didnt vacate the stay till date.

You need to send any letter for recalling as it is prerogative of the court only.
Since the stay order is subsequent to the demand notice the same notice though ante dated has no force till vacation of the stay order of the court.
