respected,
i am dealing with hindu marriage petition under section 9. now summons served on defendant wife by affixing a copy of it on her residential. if defendant does not appear , what should be the next procedure? what next step should be taken by me ?

If the respondent do not come present before the court on the next date of hearing, she shall be proceeded as ex-parte and next course of action shall take place.

if on next date def.remains absent in court then pray to court to proceed exparte against def.
