(Querist) 09 December 2012 This query is : Resolved
I am relative of husband have been booked under false 498-A/406 cases and working as probationer in Govt sector.I was also given A.B with other accused members and during the investigation( formal arrest), i didnot disclose my occupation to the Police as I don't want to affect its prospects. Apart from this I don't want that complaniant or Police should approach to the Govt body with fake complaints/reports
Kindly inform whether its approparaiate to deny my occupation status to Police ??

You are asking this question when you can do nothing. If we say you did wrong, you shall feel it bad and shall try to get it inserted in the police record which in turn may be more painful for you so better to keep silence. Legally you were bound to disclose just about you serving and not more details as it would have served your purpose.

It is not always good to suppress material factor from State agencies.
