Respected Seniors!
my father in law expired 8 years back and was a lawyer. he holds Advocate office at Surat and since there is no one advocate in the family my mother in law asked to look after the office by one of my father in law's junior and he is running it since then. today my wife is an advocate and want to enjoy her fathers office as one and sole. (no rents were paid by the said Junior and neither these have asked).
please advice how to get it back the office in her name. (Property is in my mother in law's name)
Thanks & Regards,
aditya.

There is no legal issue involved in such matter. You may ask orally to that lawyer to leave the office with his briefs but I shall suggest otherwise. It shall be better to your wife to some months get practical experience in sitting in that office and going and attending to the courts and making contacts with the clients so that she may become capable to retain work with her otherwise office is your which can be got vacated at any time.

Yes.That apart your mother in law can execute and register a gift deed in favour of her daughter to make its absolute owner.
