Sir,
I want to ask legal procedure in case of LTC Home Town.
First of all i want to inform you that i m a govt. servant and i have availed LTC hometown previous month and claimed for the same.
Now someone in my office have replaced the tickets enclosed with false one and threatening me to file vigilance case due to some personal reasons .i don't have another copy of original tickets.What should i do.is there any legal action can be taken against me.kindly suggest what should i do.

you must have the PNR of tickets booked by you . the reservation chart of that day must be containing your name and other details . even if vigilance conducts an inquiry it will verify with t he railways whether you travelled on said date or not

Please indicate the mode of travel by air, train or what?
If it was by train, did you travel after reservation or without reservation?
Whether you travelled alone or with your family?

i dont have the PNR of the train which i have travelled.Travelled by train self only not with family.Travelled after reservation but i don't want to go through vigilance preceedings.

if it is through rail means you an esquire through the railway authorities
and also the name will be there on the ticket which your friend has kept and how your will be framed

It is not the question whether you want to go through the vigilance proceedings or not. In case vigilance proceedings are initiated against you, how to redeem yourself is the question.
If you fear that some one in the office is deliberately acting against your interests and have threatened you, then it would be better that you give a complaint in writing against the person who was threatening you. Say in the complaint that you submitted the LTC claim along with the original tickets.

if any complaint is lodged and inquiry is ordered you have to face the music . if you are innocent and have not misused the facility why do you worry .

log in with your id . check your history of transactions . irctc mainatins those details for a month i belive

If you have other travel details then you may seek information under RTI Act.

Moreover of under RTI Act you do not get any information then summon the concerned staff to prove your travel details

actually i have taken tickets through an agent after this if i get ticket how will i prove the genuineness of same.Is there any provision in irctc ?

When it was a matter of record then a xerox copy ought to have been preserved which you did not.
At least we can not print a duplicate for you.

actually right now i m having my documents with me but they are not the original one they are photocopied.problem with me is to how to show the print with me is genuine and the claimed bill was replaced by fake tickets.is there any way to show this thing.

Dear Tina,
It is quite bad of you. Instead of telling the whole fact, you are telling the facts wrongly and then in bits and pieces revealing the facts. THIS IS NOT AT ALL EXPECTED FROM THE QUERISTS LIKE YOU WHO NEED HELP FROM THIS LCI.
Originally you said that "i don't have another copy of original tickets." That is what made all the experts here to suggest various things.
Now you say that you have a photocopy, that is good enough. HAVING ALREADY SUBMITTED THE ORIGINAL TO THE AUTHORITIES ALONG WITH THE LTC CLAIM, YOU CANNOT BE EXPECTED TO HAVE ANYTHING ELSE THAN THE PHOTOCOPY. THAT IS VERY GOOD. NOTHING MORE IS REQUIRED. IN CASE ANY ENQUIRY COMES, ALL THAT YOU HAVE TO SAY IS THAT YOU SUBMITTED THE LTC CLAIM ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL TICKETS, THE PHOTOCOPY IS ATTACHED. HAVING ALREADY UNDERTAKEN THE JOURNEY AND PERFORMED IT, THERE IS NO GOOD REASON WHY ANY PERSON WILL EVER SUBMIT A WRONG TICKET. THEREFORE YOU HAVE A GOOD DEFENCE. BUT PRESERVE THE PHOTOCOPY OF THE TICKET VERY CAREFULLY. NOTHING TO WORRY.

Then allege clearly against the person you doubt has changed original tickets after your filing.Impute him of offence committed by him.Custodian of record is responsible and not you this kind of change.

If not guilty, why fear??
Claimed bill must bear your signature, and details therein if telly with your copy in hand, Why you fear??How someone get Fake ticket on your name?? & Why??& who can replace it in Office Record?? Report it to higher authority, if so. Monkey business in Official work will cost his job..

It seems, you are not comming before us with clean hand.
Many Employee reserve First Class tickets for LTC, take Xerox copy of it, collect refund cancelling it within a week ,travel by IInd Class with genuine tickets,
Majority of LTC Claims on FIRST CLASS RLY TICKET, Claim and produce it's Xerox, [as they claim Original were taken away by TTE on Railway Gate, to save Tax, and get LTC benefits. It is Open Secret.
Your opponent must have proof of it, so u fear??

You must have mentioned ticket No and train details on the claim. How is it relevant that someone changed the ticket and attached the ticket which you have not mentioned in claim.
Further given the PNR No the railways do state the facts of booking.
It appears you still have more facts to reveal so I am not able to agree or disagree with experts above.
Many Govt servant has enemies and they are not found so worried after LTC claim.
Come with complete facts.

It you had really traveled through train then you need not worry as the entire detail can be got revealed even if you have no PNR with you but if the things are otherwise then post true facts so that experts may suggest you accordingly.
