Is mutation of agricultural land mandatory ? Is there any time limit for getting it done or it can be done any time ?

ans. it should be within 12 years.

ans. yes, but it may be not easy as earlier.

Mutation is the only document which completes the change in ownership qua the agricultural land so it should be got done as earliest as possible but not later than 12 years from the date of change of ownership.
