A damage recovery order under Public Premises Act for recovery of damages from us the legal heirs of my deceased father for overstay in govt quarter was passed by the estate officer. I fought the case before the district judge the appellate authority and he set aside the order and remanded the case to EO. The department in its counter reply to my appeal had made a number of factually incorrect statement, some on purpose. Is a case of perjury made out against the department and can a lawyer's notice for perjury proceedings be issued to the govt officer who filed the affidavit accompanying the counter reply.

There is no need to send prior legal notice for the initiation of action under prejury.
A clear case of prejury is made out in the given facts.
