Pl. indicate in which court you are trying?

What is the ground on which you are seeking divorce and under which Act?
Adv Archana Deshmukh (Expert) 11 June 2013
Nobody can guide you here unless the grounds are made clear and the stage of the case. AS you have already filed the case in the court, you ask your lawyer to expediate the matter and take quick dates.

Legal path takes its own time and path. Immediate reliefs are also procedural and legal. In court divorce may take more time. Try influential people / relatives of the society to get an early result.

Live separate, filed Divorce so demand Maintenance on interim basis,
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 12 June 2013
As your rukhsti has not taken place and thus your marriage has not been consumatted so this is the best ground for divorce but you have not told the actual grounds which find place in your ongoing petition.

Better to be n close contact with your lawyer.

Why there is no rukhsati? Any dowry demand?
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 29 June 2013
since rukhsatgi is not there the marriage is not consummated and Muslim marriage is not complete.

You can move under Indian Dissolution of Muslim Marriage Act.
