Contempt case

Sir,
I have filed a contempt case against the municipal corporation and one other person who have made an illegal and unauthorized construction in spite of a stay order issued by the High Court judge.
When the case came up for hearing in 2010 the municipal corporation stated in their affidavit that the said person has been already served a notice prior to the stay order not to construct the unauthorized structure and they would demolish the same, the other party vehemently denied that they did not construct after the court passed the stay order.
Now the contempt case has been kept for final hearing since 2010. What are the options left to me to expedite the matter in the court. Please advice.
