This query is : Resolved
Hello Sir,
My best friends Father is a retired central govt employee. He took voluntary retirement as a Grade A officer around 9 years back when he had 4 years of service left. He took the job by producing fake caste certificate for which he regrets a lot. I would like to know, what could be the maximum punishment for this senior citizen if he surrenders himself or somebody complains against him. His peace of mind has gone.
Please help
Thanks

IF HE COULD SURRENDER HIMSELF WITH CONFESSION BY HIMSELF BEFORE SOMEBODY COULD COMPLAIN THE PUNISHMENT COULD BE LESS WHICH COULD ALSO GET HIM THE PEACE OF MIND WHAT HE WANTs.ONE WHO ACCEPTS HIS FAULTS AND SEEKS MERCY IS A GREATER HUMAN THAN THE PERSON WHO IS IN A POSITION TO EXCUSE

conscience didnt prick him for years in Government service . only after he retired he developed a guilty conscience . if he so desires let him inform the authorities the fraud he has played . surrender the benefits and the pension .

We cannot encourage illegal act.
We need not offer peace to wrong doer. He snatched someone's right, bread and butter, national policy,
must teach him lesson.
IN FACT LAW MUST ENSURE THAT NOT A SINGLE CULPRIT/ CRIMINAL MUST BE SPARED, ALL CRIMINALS MUST BE PUNISHED, EVEN AT THE COST OF PUNISHING FEW INNOCENT..
Do God forgive you, if you dash a stone?? even by mistake?? it bleed immediately, and noticed quickly by others being red blood & swollen, takes few days to heal with pain...
so next time he is careful..
Even God do not forgive, why we??
Why we encourage crime by helping criminals ?????????????

The Human who regrets and repents for his mistake is already punished by his conscience.Who ever who had not done any sins in their life could have the powers to throw stones at the sinners.

Thank you all for taking out time and replying. I really appreciate!!
I believe that every person should be punished who does something wrong intentionally...Sometime in life, we all must have done mistakes intentionally or unintentionally and trust me, sometimes we realise the intensity of a mistake when it's too late.. I am not saying that this person has not done anything wrong but at least he accepts his mistake, so what it's after his retirement????? He did not allow his children to make fake certificates to get jobs, He is suffering from depression and wants to surrender though his family does not want (he can keep quite to enjoy the benefits), He does not even have his own house (many people earn crore's by doing forgery), there are so many things which he could have done with that fake certificate but he did not.. I don't know how true is it but I came to know that, Government does not take any action after 4 years of retirement.. I raised my query just to enquire what can happen to this person? What is the maximum punishment for a person who is retired for 9 years now?
Again, a big thank you to all!!
Kind regards,
Avi

four years embargo is on disciplinary proceedings but not on criminal proceedings.
you hve not even intimated whether any criminal case is registered or not
