Hi, I am Ramesh here. Iam from Andhra Pradesh and currently staying Bangalore. My surname was wrong in my certificates and all other ID proofs like PAN Card, Passport. I want to change it. I have a property in bangalore. What is the procedure to name change and what is the procedure to change the name in my property docs. If I change here will it applicable every where in india ? or Am i need to do anything in Andhra Pradesh?

Please suggest me.

it has to be published in official gazette and 2 local newspapers

For name change insert advt. in two newspapers and official gazette.

First of all get the change published in 2 news papers and then get it published in govt. Gazette and then produce the copy of the gazette everywhere you want to change your certificates.
