urgent help needed

I got married in jan 2014 with europe based nri. After 7 months my visa came & i joined him here in europe a month back. He has beaten me like animals on more than 5 occassions & threatening me to send india everydayon no grounds. His family based in india supporting him. I have launched a complaint here in europe in local police station. But he is not gvng me any support & money & left me deserted here. He wants me to go to india as he has no intentions to come to india as he want to be safe. Please give right advice. This is his second marriage. He cant leave me on no grounds. How to get justice after coming to india as i wont be able to survive here for long. All my family in india.

Initially make a complaint to Indian Consulate in Europe about the harassment. As per your post, it appears that it is not possible for you to stay there and lead your life. Come back to India to your parents and file dowry harassment case and criminal cases against him. Gather evidence of harassment as much as possible. You can consult a lawyer in India after you come back to India. Keep a copy of your police complaint (given in Europe) and a copy of complaint to Consulate (to be made now) as part of evidence.

we generally dont respond to anonymous queries .but considering the fact that you are victim of domestic violence i have decided to reply .

file for divorce against your husband in europe . you would get 50%of his assets .

you have already filed police complaint against him . obtain medical certificate of nature of your injuries .

dont come back to india now . contact some local NGO for help . if you come back to india you would find it difficult to travle back to europe as your husband would refuse to sponsor you .

1. Lodge a complaint against your husband in the local police station in writing for harassment and cruelty upon you mentioning respective dates and times of incidents.
2. Forward a copy of that complaint along with a forwarding letter addressed to the Consulate of India with the request to intervene in the matte for relief
3. Seek help of a local NGO in the matter.
