Institution fee

i have taken admission in a private coaching for preparing M.B.B.s. i had paid my fee for two years. my session was from july 2012 to feb 2014.i had attended class only for 3 months. so ,now i would like to get my money back(on proportionality basis) . Is there any provisoin under cpa act 1986 regarding above .please help , i desperately need your advice.

inform institute that you dont want to continue and request them for refund in writing . if institute refuses move consumer forum for refund

They will not refund. They will say, they lost revenue because you discontinued in the middle, and they cannot take anybody at that point of time.

If at all you had discontinued, you should have made a claim at that time itself, now your claim may not be considered, however, issue a legal notice trough a lawyer, if it comes back, ok or you may have to ignore it.
