Your lawyer is correct.
If she has filed anything, whether old, cutted out or not, it is for you to prove that it is not the correct slip by producing the correct salary proof.
Nobody can obtain your salary slip through RTI.
If any one in the Administration happens to give a copy of your salary slip to your wife and assisting her, then also it will be difficult for you to prove (though you will be able to allege) as you will not have evidence to do that.
Therefore, keeping all these aspects in view your lawyer has very correctly said that you cannot do anything about it.
However, when you say that your wife is earning double than you, then you can prove that (to prove you have to produce your own salary slip), in which event it will be difficult for your wife to get maintenance.
If you are in Delhi, then as per High Court order, you are bound to produce your salary slip, income tax return etc while giving your reply.

Why you want not to disclose your income particulars? Meet the issue on merits. if the wife is earning, that itself could be a good defence.
If you are a public servant, salary particulars could be obtained under RTI. Many organisations disclose the details on the website itself.

Even you can be asked by the judge to produce latest salary slip from your employer. Justice does not mean to be based on concealed facts.
If she earns double than you, why worried about your own salary slip that too when it is old one?

1.&n 2. Can be relied till proved otherwise by you.
3. Salary slip of other person is not provided through RTI.
4. Bring the fact before the court with proofs. In case, summon his employer / officer to confirm her salary.
5. If such thing happens, lodge complaint to your employer.

Submit your salary slip and income tax return to the court and prey that she is earning double the income than you and prove it. There are chances of winning the case without payment of maintenance.

i think submitting my own salary slip would be done when ordered by court as told by my lawyer.
one thing more sir, i have chat recording on facebook where she accepts that her father and brother is having 2 crores proerty in her name as well . can i submit that as well. the only problem is some of the chat messages were deleted by me at that time as to clear window of chat, so the complete conversation is not there, as last few lines might have been deleted that time, can i submit that too. as her financial sttaus is higher than mine.

better prove her income instead of hiding yours.
