Sir in a cheque bounce case filed by me in the court as the cheque issued by accused in his own hand written can I apply in court for hand writing expert opinion on hand writing on cheque at any stage of the case or at a particular stage ? At present the case is at the stage of notice of accusation.

Yes, you can apply for appointment of hand writing expert. However merely because the accused person had written the cheque does not absolve you from the duly to repay the creditor.

whilst his signatures could be a specimen of his handwriting but arn't you presuming that he might take the defence that the cheque was written by his accountant and he merely signed it

Why and what for you want the signature of accused to be proved when you are the complainant? It should have been applied by the accused in his defence. Do you want to absolve/deny liability of the accused and get your complaint dismissed?
I think some misinformation by the author.

Sir I want to examine hand writing expert for his opinion on writing of the particulars on cheque and not on the signature of the accused on cheque.

Why are U after handwriting expert at this stage,U have a lot of time for doing so? Let the proceedings progress,and at evidence stage U can opt for it in case the accused denies.
