girl and child missing

My relative sister age 29 and child age2, are missing. After two days we raised FIR in police station, their not investigating the person we are doubted. So please help me how to proceed next step.

We are thinking about to file a case in court, if we declare a case in court then how many days they(police) will find and produce in court

1. You can file a writ petition of Ha-beaus Corpus before the High Court under Article 226 of the C.O.I. This will perforce the police to produce such missing person before the H.C. at the earliest.
