You have initiated many queries.

What is the opinion of your own counsel?

Generically speaking:

Father's share shall devolve equally upon his wife and children.

This way you can yourself calculate.

Why so many queries. Try to post a single query incorporating all material facts.

I think the author has not asked more than one query.

The grandsons have no direct relation with the grad-father. Unless you mention what happened with the inheritance/successors of the grand-father of A & B, none can move ahead.

Even if it is presumed that a property is to be divided among A & B as the same is an ancestral then it shall be equally divided (All are Hindus) and further on the demise of A & B, their properties shall further go to their legal heirs in equal shares.

In the given case, 1/2 property was inherited by A and remaining 1/2 was with B. I both have died and have even not left their widows, mothers and daughters then both the sons of A shall be entitled for 1/4 share each in the entire property and rest 1/2 shall be inherited by son of B.

Purely academic query.

Can you please state, how you are concerned with the issue?

Further, what happened to the legal heir of the grandfather, who owned the property, i.e., his own sons or daghters?
