Power of attorney

do we need the original document of the property for which power of attorney is to be granted to my uncle for sale later? because the document is in the bank. but there is no entry in the Encumberance certicate. i will preclose the loan in 3 months and my uncle can sell it

Only for any Registrations the Original Documents would be required and for executing Power of Attorney the Copy of Documents and Ec should be sufficient.Confirm with the Concerned Registrar.

The property is mortgaged with lender.

Check with lender also, if it shall agree.
