i had made some allegation against govt staff to its executive that without money they dont do any job and allowing encroachement of govt land but making it clear in the letter that these are only allegation as all these thingsare verbally told by subordinate staff and cannot proved on record however i asked for enquiry to which executive asked me to submit document to which i submitted some documents can the govt body can action against me for levelling allegation against them as they are askig me to prove the allegation to which i replied that i am not an investigating agency what is the remedy to stop these correspondenc because in india i find that ulta chor police ko date please help me what i should do can they take legal action against me or should i write letter and withdraw the complaint regarding encroachnent of public utility land

It is dangerous to make allegations without evidence or proofs. Otherwise, you will yourself inviting troubles for yourself. If they desire to take action, it is your burden to prove. Then face it boldly if it is truth.

Let matter proceed, you don't proceed.
If general remark of bribe, and such allegation, it is everywhere, so pardoned. If specific against a particular person, strict proof is necessary.
