Hi,
i have 20 acres land in lonavala.I want to sell that land.And in that quest.I have given photocopy of original land agreement to couple of agents.What are the chances that my sign will be forged and land can be sold to third party without my knowledge though we have registration process and in that case legally where do i stand ? pls advise. these days hence i feel tensed.

you have 20 acres of land in lonavala . it must be worth in crores . you ought to engage a local lawyer to safeguard your interest . never furnish copy of original agreement to agents . it can be misused .

Simple. Get back your papers from those agent at the earliest. THen tell them that search for a buyer. WHen they get u a genuine buyer, then talk to the buyer and only then you have to handover the copies of the original deed. Never till then.
