My querry is that if few documents are in custody of Opposite Party and if the Complainant would like to rely on them in consumer case whether the Complainant can request the court to direct the OP to produce the same. When such application can be filed i.e. at the time of submission of affidavit of evidence of the Complainant.
It was however not mentioned in original pleadings then what is solution.

You may file, let OP reply whatever it wants to reply.

While filing the affidavit during trial you may file the photo copy of the said document or can mention that you rely upon the said document held by the OP, let the court decide about accepting your statement or the opposite party deny or object this, you can file petition to direct the OP to produce the same afterwards.
