whom should ask for receipt of payment

opponent in co-op court requested the hon'ble judge for restoration of CROSS-EXAM.STATUS,while agreeing the request he asked the opponent to pay Rs. 500/- to the Petitioner which was immedielly obligsed by the Opponent in the court itself.
My Q. is 1]to whom should ask for the receipt of this payment ? 2]since the payment wa given to Secretary of society ,is it not correct to deposit the same amount in society's tressary & issue the receipt?
It is in maharashtra.

If cost is paid to the bar association, then bar association will issue the receipt, if it is directly paid to the party that will be mentioned in the order sheet of the court and sign will be taken from the party who has received the cost. You can obtain the certified copy of the order sheet of the particular day.

i have not received the answer to my Q.2 in original [?] ie i have paid Rs. 500/-to the SECRETARY of the SOCIETY IN COURT ROOM ITSELF.Whether tha amount should go into the TRESSARY of SOCTY.or otherwise. If yes then it should reflect in the BALANCE SHEET. Isn't it ?

Dear Ajit,
You were entitled to get the receipt of payment from the society duly signed either by the Treasurer/Cashier or by the Secretary of the society issued from the official Receipt Book of the Society.
Definitely, it should reflect in the Cashbook of the Society, as a part of cash balance, but not in the Balance Sheet, as it is just a final consolidated replica of Receipt & payment Account and the Balance Sheet of the society after the close of the accounting year.
You should not bother about whether the amount has actually been accounted by the society or not. That is the headache of the Auditor of the Society, if any officially issued receipt is not got accounted for by the secretary.
